The Actuator System Assembly (SWARM) is designed to deflect the control surfaces of the AUV based on command voltages provided by the On-Board Computer (OBC). Positioned at the tail section of the torpedo body, the system comprises four actuator sections, each equipped with one actuator and one potentiometer. Two actuators control the horizontal rudders (elevators), while the remaining two control the vertical rudders. This configuration ensures precise control of the AUV’s movement and stability.
