Integrated MIU-Relay Unit (IMRU)

Develop an onboard processing system with an integrated relay section to interface the onboard computer with various subsystems using high-speed communication protocols.

  • Monitors command/response of subsystems through 1553B.
  • Sends command voltages to control systems and provides excitation supply to pressure transducers.
  • Conditions signal voltages and measures battery voltages and system pressures.
  • Operates pyro devices by supplying power through relay switching.

  • Uses KINTEX-7 FPGA for guidance through MIL-1553B protocol and I/O resources for real-time data exchange.
  • Upgrades the individual processing unit with a box section in a single unit for the Dhvani missile system.
