SAM-QRSAM

The SAM-QR is an Electro Mechanical Single Shot Safety and Arming Mechanism (SAM) designed for QR-SAM (Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missile) airborne applications. It ensures secure arming and reliable warhead detonation upon receipt of a valid command. The system is triggered by Armament On-Board Computer (AOBC) signals and incorporates multiple built-in safeties. The rotor-based Arming and Detonation Mechanism (ADM) and dual-redundant acceleration sensing contribute to safe missile operation during handling, storage, transportation, and launch.
